Boring...or Uninterested?

Saturday at The Meeting Place (11th & Howard) 8pm-1:30am there is salsa dancing with a lesson from 8pm-9pm. The cover is $10. (and they do have a wine and spirits bar, too) I don't know if anyone was interested, but I thought I'd post it just to be nice.

Tomorrow night I'm going to get my red dye from Retro before I head over to Travato's...that sounds like oodles of fun...I don't know if I'm going to dye it before this Friday, though...I may just do it Saturday. Nobody will see for awhile, though...Is anyone taking the $10 Fast Lindy class on Monday night?? (7pm at LaVista)

I've been in such a great mood lately. I'm not sure why...I really have no reason to be, but I guess I don't really have reason not to be in a good mood either....It's nice to be in a good mood, though...
I decided something else, I think I want Micheal Buble to be my birthday jam...haha....You know what would be even better? If he was actually right there singing a song to me. :)

New Layout

So, with the input of a few other people, I've decided to put a deep red color on the ends of just my bangs. The blue looked cool, but it was too subtle. And I'm just not a fan of subtle when it comes to some things. I'm not sure when I'm going to go get the dye, though. Either this weekend or next weekend for sure. You all will just be surprised. :)

I left Jitterbugs early last night, because I thought I would sew my sister's dress before she got in tonight, but I didn't do anything but eat...ugh. After I type this up, I should go sew it. It really doesn't feel like she's been gone a whole week. It went by so quickly. Oh well, I'm still excited to see her. :)

I can't believe there's only two more weeks until my birthday. I'm kind of hoping on that day, it will turn out like Sixteen Candles. haha I doubt that'll happen.

Has anyone ever wanted some scene in a movie to happen to you? I can think of a couple that I'd want to happen to me. The ending of Pretty Woman (doesn't everyone say that lol) and the kissing scene during the pouring rain in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Those are the top two I've always wanted...

I guess that's it...

Dreadful Addiction

It's official...I'm an Ebay addict. What a horrible, yet awesome feeling. I've put two more items up for sale. I figure if I sold one, hell I can sell more! haha...wow. Anyway, today was okay. Way too much shopping for my liking...but it was okay because my dad was shopping and he rarely gets anything for himself, so I survived. :) My sister leaves for New Orleans at 10am. I haven't decided if I'm going to see her off yet. I probably will, because not seeing her for a week...yeah I should go. It's late and I'm bored, but not tired. There doesn't seem to be any good TV on either. How unfortunate...well I guess Silence of the Lambs is on, but after seeing that 4x it gets a little old. I'll find something to do...Cleaning sounds like fun, I suppose I'll go clean...These flowers looked very abstract and beautiful. I couldn't resist posting them even though I despise flowers. (They die instantly and most smell funny)

Pure Home Grown Boredom

You can never do enough Jitterbugging. Monday, wednesday, and Friday (to come)...oh gotta love it. That was just for this week, but it was fun while it lasted.

My week seemed to have just flown by. Already it's Thursday, and thank god I don't have school tomorrow or MOnday...I suppose that means I had a good week since it went so fast. I have a feeling I'm going to have a terribly boring weekend...but we'll see what happens. :)

So...I don't really know why I am posting. I have nothing to say...I guess I was just bored, so I felt the need to post. hmm I was organizing pictures on my thing (I really don't know the word for where pictures are kept on a computer) and I found one I really liked. Maybe I'll post that, eh maybe not. It's when I used to be..."more different" than I am now...man I miss being "really different". lol I'm still quite different at heart, though. That's what counts I guess.

It's late...

Yes, it is quite late. I got home from Ruth's about an hour ago, since it was already so late and I was fairly hyper I've decided to type up a paper I have to type eventually, so why not now? Anyway, Ruth's was so much fun...Time just flew by. I have to post a joke Dan made, because it's probably one of the funniest I've heard in forever. (I won't get it exactly right, but hopefully it'll still be funny. Although when it is better spoken)


Mickey and Minnie Mouse were having marital problems and so Mickey decided to go to a marriage counseler by himself, so he could tell his side of the story. At the end of the counsel the counseler asks Mickey, "I don't understand why you want a divorce because your wife is crazy." and Mickey responds, "I said she's fucking Goofy."

So, I guess I will have a birthday jam. I think it would be fun...I don't know who the dj will be, but if one of them happens to read this, I think I want the birthday jam song to be Fever. I decided that's an excellent song. Not too fast, not too terribly slow.

Well, I should start typing my paper, I titled it "The Underestimated Glory of the Arts." :) It's a great thought provoking paper...After that I have to find something to keep me occupied until 6am (when I have to be sure my sister is awake.) hmmm....

Option Enrollment is a Sweet Thing

So, not much is up. Actually there is, but it's just not that important right now. I'm super excited for this weekend. So much fun stuff! :) I hate it when my weekends aren't busy or I can't do anything because I'm stuck at home. I like constant random business.

Dr. Zhivago is on tomorrow right afterschool and luckily gets over right at 8pm, so I can head to Jitterbugs early. I have to make sure and finish every little detail on my dress, so I can be able to devote my full attention to that great movie. I'm kind of tired, though, but I'll force myself to work on it tonight.

It's probably a bad thing if your heart hurts, huh? Mine does at random times....I think mostly when I drink pop/caffinated drinks. I don't want to find out what it is, though, because if it's bad I'd be depressed. Maybe just a little sad. But personally, I'd rather just live on...Besides if I fix my diet to be A LOT more healthier, I should be just fine. My food consumption is quite the unhealthy one...consists of anything chocolatey, salty, crunchy, spicy, caffinated, or just anything absolutely delish. :) A healthy diet wouldn't be too terribly difficult. We have just as much healthy food as we do junk food. I just happen to pick the junk food more.

I sold my very first item on Ebay! I feel quite proud of myself, although I wasn't quite sure of what I was doing...I think it all worked out alright. Let's hope...

Well, I suppose that's all I have to say at this moment. See everyone on Friday! ((wear pink)) I won't be sleeping on Friday like I did last week. Ill be sure of that. Bye

Casablanca

Casablanca is on tonight at 9pm (Turner Classic) and I absolutely love that movie. (and Dr. Zhivago) It is so well made and the actors are excellent. Humphrey Bogart...mmm "...Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine..." :D Who wouldn't walk into his gin joint?!?

Not too much is new, just felt like posting so no one thinks I neglected my blog. I slept all day yesterday, so I'm all refreshed and "better"! :) Although, I was never really sick to begin with.

I have an idea of how I'm making my dress for the sweetheart/pink dance at Jitterbugs. I have everything I need, I just have to convince myself to start early enough so that I'll have it done. I found some awesome pink chains to use in the dress, too. I'm posting a rough sketch of what I had in mind. It isn't great, and probably will turn out differently, but it gives you an idea of what I'm thinking...if you were wondering. (I doubt you were...but who cares)
